I’m a NO for Victimhood: How to Shift from Complaining to Leading in Your Coaching Business

I’m a NO for Victimhood

It can sneak in quietly — especially when things feel hard, uncertain, or slower than we hoped.

At first, it sounds reasonable… even logical.
But underneath the surface, it’s the energy that keeps you stuck right where you are.

What Victimhood Sounds Like in Business

“I’ve tried everything and nothing is working.”
“People say it’s too expensive — I can’t make them buy.”
“I tried what [insert name of program or coach] said, and it didn’t work.”
“I’ve been posting, but no one’s reaching out.”
“Nothing ever works for me.”
“The algorithm hates me.”
“People just don’t want to invest right now.”
“I can’t grow because I don’t have the time, money, or help.”
“I’m doing everything right, but it’s just not happening for me.”
“I’ll feel confident once I finally get a few clients.”
“I tried that once and it didn’t work, so why bother again?”
“No one’s buying right now — the market’s too saturated.”
“I just need to get my life together first. Then I’ll be ready to focus on my business.”

Sound familiar?

How Victim Energy Shows Up

Victimhood doesn’t always sound dramatic — it often disguises itself as logic.
But it reveals itself in action (or inaction):

  • Waiting for motivation instead of creating momentum

  • Comparing yourself to others who “have it easier”

  • Avoiding responsibility by blaming timing, audience, or algorithm

  • Over-consuming information instead of implementing

  • Seeking validation instead of trusting your intuition

  • Resisting feedback or opportunities because “it probably won’t work anyway”

Here’s the truth: nothing works from this space.

Because victimhood quietly whispers,

“The power is out there — not in me.”

And that is the very belief that keeps brilliant, capable women from building the business (and life) they’re meant for.

Why I Won’t Work With Anyone Committed to Staying There

This might sound bold — but I’ve learned this boundary protects both my clients and the integrity of my work.

I don’t work with anyone who’s committed to staying in victim mode.

Not because I don’t care… but because I care too much to participate in their limitation.

Victim energy isn’t coachable — it’s defensive, resistant, and rooted in the belief that “nothing works for me.”
And when someone refuses to take radical responsibility for their results, no amount of strategy, coaching, or mentorship will create sustainable success.

I only work with women who are ready to reclaim their power.
Women who may feel scared, unsure, or stuck — but who are willing to rise anyway.

Because that willingness is everything.

When a woman says,
“I don’t know how, but I’m ready to figure it out,”
that’s when transformation happens.

I can build miracles with that kind of energy.

The Shift from Victim to Leader

You don’t need perfect circumstances.
You need a powerful decision.

The moment you shift from:
❌ “Why isn’t this working for me?”
to
✅ “What can I do differently to create a new result?”

Everything changes.

That’s the exact moment you stop surviving your business and start leading it.

When this happens,

You reclaim your time.
You take action with clarity instead of chaos.
You show up like the woman who knows she creates her results.

Because she does.

Victim energy drains.
Leadership energy builds momentum.

And that shift — right there — is where real success begins.
